* Swift Gas Cooker Update*
Good afternoon everyone,
Please see below the Gas Safety Recall notice for the Swift Appliance Group 500 Series Cooker/Grill and Cooktops.
Please check your model numbers and serial numbers found on the data plate located on the inside front left hand side of the lid of the stoves. The affected model numbers are found in the picture below. Please note that the affected model numbers were supplied to consumers, caravan camper and motorhome manufacturers between 01/01/2019 to 01/06/2020 not when your van was built.
If you do not have an affected model number within those dates please follow the actions required on the recall notice and email Swift directly at swiftrecall@outlook.com. Please note that a remedial process has not been finalised yet hence why you need to register your details so once the remedial process is finalised Swift will contact you.
❗️❗️ PLEASE NOTE❗️❗️SWIFT APPLIANCE GROUP HAVE ADVISED US THAT THE ACCC STILL HASN’T REMOVED THE BAN ON THE USE OF ALL 500 SERIES STOVE. UNTIL WE GET MORE CLARIFICATION FROM SWIFT THE ADVICE IS TO STILL NOT USE ANY 500 SERIES COOKER EVEN IF YOURS ISN’T PART OF THE MODELS AND DATES AFFECTED! SWIFT IS CURRENTLY IN MEETINGS AND TALKS WITH ACCC AND OTHER GOVERNING BODIES TO GET FULL CLARIFICATION ON THIS MATTER.
We understand that it is very frustrating and we thank you for your patience. We will update you once we hear back from Swift regarding the use of 500 series stoves that aren’t a part of the affected models and dates.
